IP12 Drip Rain Test Chamber

Introduction. 

The IP12 Drip Rain Test Chamber is suitable for testing electrical products, enclosures and seals to ensure good performance of equipment and components in a rainy environment. The scientific design of this product enables the device to realistically simulate various environments such as dripping, watering, splashing, and water spraying, for waterproof performance testing and IP waterproof rating test. Into the comprehensive control system and the adoption of frequency conversion technology, the rotation angle of the rainfall sample rack, the swing angle of the water swing and the swing frequency of the water spray can be automatically adjusted.

The machine uses the artificial simulated rainfall environment to test the waterproof ability of the tested products according to the international standard requirements; it is designed and manufactured in accordance with IEC60529: 2001 "Degrees of security provided by enclosures (IP Code)", GB4208-2008 "Enclosure protection class (IP code)" 14.2.5, 14.2.6 terms and Figure 6 and GB7000.1 "lamps first part: general Requirements and tests "9.2.6, 9.2.7 and Figure 9.5 requirements.

For the IP12 series, it’s suitable for electrical products for the second feature number 1 and 2 (IPX1 and IPX2) Rain test.

IPx12 test: 

1) Dripping hole diameter: 0.4MM, each hole with interval of 20X20MM.

4) The rainfall device can be raised and lowered automatically. The nozzle is located at 200mm of the highest point of the object to be tested. It is equipped with a protection device to prevent it from falling down quickly. The lifting stroke can also be manually operated.

5) It has the function of air-drying with compressed air. After the test is completed, the excess water in the drip box can be drained to avoid long-term accumulation of water and scaling to block the needle.

6) Driven by imported electric lifting motor, stainless steel screw rod, pulley guide rail and lock nut lifting device.

7) Wall-mounted structure, the drip tray runs smoothly up and down.
